We had to wait until the beginning of the new century to see its launch at the St. Louis Exhibition in 1904. Used in several British military campaigns, in the 1930s it started to be produced in Tripoli, taking on the ltalian name "Sedia Tripolina." lt inspired many designers including Albini and Magistretti. lt had a three-dimensional folding frame to which the canvas seat was anchored by pockets. Citterio included it in its catalogue from the 1960s.
