Dada Alta Cucina has been a bold statement of intent since the 1970s—a seal of quality and a guarantee, expressed through striking slogans, typographic graphics, and dynamic logo variations. Typography, rich with meaning and cultural references, has remained the central thread of Dada’s visual identity from the 1970s through the 1990s, maintaining continuity even after the brand became part of the Molteni Group in 1979.

Advertising dedicated to the Polidada kitchen, published in Abitare in November 1984.

Dada’s visual language stood out for its innovative design choices, including the multiplication and deconstruction of the logo, alongside memorable slogans such as “L’evoluzione della cucina fa scuola,” “Nessun particolare è un dettaglio,”and “Dada ha nascosto le ante della cucina. Indovinate dove.” These playful yet sophisticated messages captured the ironic and forward-thinking spirit of the 1980s and 1990s, transforming typography and branding into tools for conveying not just a product, but an entire lifestyle.
